MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF SPCAAM

Dear Friends,

Even after 65 years of achieving independence from the British, we are still witnessing muddy water supply, flowing from a tap in an Orang Asli village in the richest state in Malaysia.

Workers are still abused and exploited by many employers, including those which are subsidiaries of our national social protection organizations.

Do the people of our nation, especially workers, have adequate protection?

The answer is, we have not yet reached a level that we can be proud of and be satisfied.

The inspiration to set up the Social Protection Contributors' Advisory Association Malaysia or SPCAAM arose when we saw that there is still a huge gap in terms of social protection for workers in the country, regardless of position ... whether working at the lower, middle or upper levels.

We need to assist in protecting them by providing adequate and effective protection. We must do something, and it will start from here, at SPCAAM.

Come on! Join us with a very simple application! And you deserve to be a volunteer, with SPCAAM. Together, we create awareness of social protection to all in Malaysia.

Every Malaysian and foreigner living in Malaysia regardless of your position in society, because everyone needs social protection.

On behalf of the Committee of SPCAAM, I congratulate everyone who has played a part in bringing this organisation to reality and together with the blessing of the Almighty, SPCAAM will be an effective social protection advisory body for all who are residing in Malaysia.
